Eva Rodriguez
VeterinarianFounder and manager of the centre, Eva embodies the values of Zaunka like no one else: honesty, closeness, and excellence both in the clinic and in client care.
She has completed numerous courses in dermatology, internal medicine and dentistry, as well as regularly attending various medicine and management conferences.
Eider Sarobe
VeterinarianLinked to Zaunka for many years, Eider specialises in cardiology and anaesthesia.
An active member of the SEAAV, she is in charge of supervising every surgery performed at Zaunka, to ensure the animals receive the best possible anaesthetic care, minimising its risks while ensuring they are pain-free and can return home in the best condition and as soon as possible.
Laia Piera
VeterinarianPassionate about “unusual creatures” and about endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, Laia is responsible for both services at the Zaunka clinic, as well as offering endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery at other veterinary centres in the area.
A regular attendee at conferences and continuing education courses, she is a member and active participant of Minimal, AVEPA and VES.
Ane Azpiazu
VeterinarianWith more than 20 years of clinical experience, Ane holds a Master's in Ethology from the UAB and a GPCert in Feline Medicine from Improve.
An active member of AVEPA, GEMFE and GEMCA, she has completed numerous courses in oncology and ultrasound, as well as regularly attending various continuing education courses.
Berta Limousin
VeterinarianAfter completing an internship at a leading veterinary hospital, she joined its emergency service, where she worked for three years consolidating her experience in emergency medicine and critical care.
She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, an area in which she has specialised with Improve Veterinary Education, obtaining the GPCert (ISVPS) in 2025.
She is also greatly interested in ultrasound and internal medicine, disciplines in which she continues to expand her training.
Arantza Ezenarro
Veterinary nurseSince the clinic began, Aran has been the public face of Zaunka.
Everyone who has visited knows her kindness, her warm manner and her incredible memory when helping you with your needs.
As a veterinary nurse, she helps the vets during consultations and looks after clients both by phone and in person.
Ainhoa Albizu
Veterinary nurseAfter studying several different subjects, Ainhoa decided that her true motivation was to dedicate her life to helping animals, so she trained as a veterinary nurse and, on finishing her studies, began working with us.
She has learned from the best, Arantza, and has also become indispensable.
Amaia Mendizabal
Veterinary nurseIn love with animals, Amaia is our most recent veterinary nurse. The clinic has been growing and so has the work of the nurses. Thanks to her presence with us, we now have a trio of aces that works to perfection.
Although she finished her veterinary nursing studies recently, her youth and passion are directly proportional to her thirst to learn and work.
We are very lucky to have our wonderful veterinary nurses; without their contribution it would be impossible to work.
Our daily practice is defined by excellence and continuous training. We have a highly qualified team covering a wide variety of veterinary specialities, always working in a coordinated, multidisciplinary way. From internal medicine and preventive care to the most complex diagnoses, we apply the latest scientific advances with precision to guarantee the comprehensive health of every patient.
