Did you know that for years cats were considered and treated as “small dogs”?
Fortunately, with the evolution of veterinary medicine that belief is now being eradicated, and felines are increasingly studied, with treatments and procedures more closely tailored to their physiology and their needs.

In addition, at Zaunka we pride ourselves on being a Cat Friendly Clinic:

• A consultation room specially dedicated to cats, including the use of pheromone diffusers and treats suited to them, in which we provide respectful, unhurried handling.
• An exclusive hospitalisation area for our cats, with “rooms” featuring different modules so they can rest while recovering from their surgeries or illnesses.
• They do not share a waiting room with dogs.
• We will advise you so that the visit is as stress-free as possible for every member of the family.
• We love kittens, and we treat them as they deserve.

At the Zaunka Veterinary Clinic we have a constantly up-to-date team of vets, led by our colleague specialised and GPCert in Feline Medicine from Improve International and the ISVPS, which allows us to handle everything from routine cases to the most complex conditions, with up-to-date criteria and handling adapted to the feline patient.
